Duncan SharrockDuncan Sharrock FCA FCCA Partner

Duncan entered a training contract with Thornton Baker in 1976 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the summer of 1980 at the age of 21. The youngest qualified accountant in the country at the time! Having been engaged in general practices in Northamptonshire area for the whole of his working life; Duncan has gained a wealth of experience in numerous business sectors.

Duncan joined CFW as a Partner in May 1989, dealing with individual tax returns right through to complex group structures. Duncan is recognised within the practice as the "technical" partner, keeping himself, the practice and clients abreast of all accounting and particularly taxation developments. More recently Duncan has been involved in specialist Inheritance Tax planning exercises.

Anthony Stevens  Anthony Stevens BSc (Hons) FCA Partner

Anthony studied agriculture at Brooksby Agricultural College and spent 10 years in the agricultural industry. He gained a 2.1 Honours Degree in Accountancy and Law at Leicester Polytechnic (now De Montfort University). Anthony joined Coopers & Lybrand in 1990 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994.

Anthony joined CFW in 1995 and became a Partner later that year. Anthony works closely with owner-managed businesses and frequently undertakes due diligence exercises to assist clients in purchasing new enterprises. Anthony has also retained strong links within the agricultural industry and acts for many farmers in the region.

Shane Hampson Shane Hampson BSc (Econ) FCCA Partner

Shane left Leicester University with a BSc in Economics and trained and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1994 with a large independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Leicester. Over the next 12 years he gained extensive experience in all aspects of accountancy, audit and tax.

Shane joined CFW in 1997 as Audit Manager and was admitted as a Partner in 2000. Shane has an extensive client base covering a range of sectors; he also has a number of large audit clients within his portfolio. Shane's current area of expertise is that of corporate finance, due diligence and company valuations.

 David BakerDavid Baker FCCA Partner

David started work as a trainee accounting technician in 1987 at Pole Arnold (now part of RSM Tenon) in Leicester. He qualified as an Accounting Technician, before moving on to study and qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1994. David then worked in smaller independent practices in Loughborough, Coalville and Quorn, progressing from Audit Manager to Associate and then Partner having gained his practising certificate in 2002.

David joined CFW as a Partner in January 2006. David specialises in small/medium sized owner managed businesses as well as acting for a number of UK subsidiaries of international companies. More recently David has been very active in new business start-ups.

Kim Parry  Kim Parry BA (Hons) FCCA Associate Partner

Kim has been working in accountancy since graduating with a BA (Honours) degree in Accountancy and Management. She qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2007 and became a Fellow in 2012.

Kim joined CFW in 2007 as an Audit Senior, soon being promoted to a Manager and became an Associate Partner in 2013. Kim's back ground is in family business, being brought up within a family running their own businesses - so she really understands a business owners' needs.

Specialties: Audit, company formations and new business start ups, Sage Line 50 training, and Solicitors Accounting Rules.
