CFW Team expands to meet demand for outsourced payroll and accountancy services

Two new recruits have joined CFW Chartered Accountants as more companies look to outsource their payroll and accounting.

AAT and ACCA qualified, Isobel Biggs joins the CFW team as Accounts Senior from Grant Thornton after six years during which she studied while working full time and led a team addressing sustainability in the workplace.

Karen Stocks joins CFW’s dedicated payroll team as Payroll Administrator from Market Harborough’s TRC Contracts and has held several payroll, financial administration and banking roles, having previously worked for DHL, Lloyds and Santander.

CFW has seen many more companies in Kettering turn to outsourcing when they can’t recruit qualified staff or need expert advice.

CFW’s team ensures that businesses meet all the relevant payroll regulations and avoid any unnecessary fines and penalties. Covid has brought business owners new challenges with staff payments and CFW works in close liaison with HMRC to resolve any queries.

CFW Partner Kim Parry comments, “We’re delighted to welcome Isobel and Karen. In the last eighteen months during the pandemic, many of our clients have called upon our expertise in dealing with the complexities of payroll administration related to Covid and furloughed staff. We have a dedicated and well qualified team in place, ready to tackle any payroll or accounting challenges.”

In her spare time, Isobel is a volunteer for Blind Veterans and Karen enjoys cycling, is a keen tennis player as a member at Rushden and Higham Tennis Club.
