Self-Employment Income Support Scheme

IMPORTANT DEADLINE

Individuals who are self-employed or a member of a partnership and have been adversely affected by coronavirus (COVID-19) can potentially claim grants under the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme.

The deadline for claiming the second grant under this scheme is TODAY (19 October 2020).  Individuals who are eligible to make a claim and have not yet done so should do so immediately.  The second taxable grant currently claimable is worth 70% of your average monthly trading profits, is paid out in a single instalment covering 3 months’ worth of profits and is capped at £6,570 in total.

Individuals who HMRC believe can make a claim have already been contacted but if you are unsure if you can make a claim, eligibility criteria and guidance on how to make a claim can be found here.
