Start Up Businesses Small Business Grant
Business & IP Centre Northamptonshire (BIPC) is an organisation working within local libraries throughout Northamptonshire. BIPC supports entrepreneurs, inventors and small businesses through launching and developing a business. They do this through the network of local libraries by running free workshops and providing information and advice sessions on self-employment and intellectual property.
On Monday 8th February 2021 BIPC launched its Reset. Restart Small Business Grants. These grants are open to Northamptonshire based businesses who have been registered for 12 months or less, as well as those who simply just have an idea and need support in launching their business successfully. The Small Business Grants form an additional part of Northamptonshire BIPC’s Reset. Restart programme.
Those who are successful in applying for the grant will receive:
- A £1,500 grant for business expenses
- A year’s free membership with the Northamptonshire Chamber
- Ongoing support from the BIPC Northamptonshire team
Those who shortlisted for the grant will be given 7 days’ notice of Dragons’ Den-style panel sessions which will be held on Thursday 15 April and Friday 16 April 2021. Successful applicants will then be notified by Friday 30 April 2021, with a public announcement at the beginning of May.
The deadline for applications is midnight on Sunday 28 March 2021.
Details on how to apply for the grant are available on the BIPC Northamptonshire website, along with links to other resources provided by them.
