At CFW Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors we care about our staff, our clients, our local community and the surrounding environment and so we share the following updates with you:
Our staff
Our staff are crucial to us and the high-quality service we provide to our clients. We provide training and professional development for our staff along with career progression opportunities and are proud to be an ACCA Platinum Approved Employer. We appreciate the importance of diversity in the workplace, especially having women in leadership roles and currently have a female partner and a female manager.
Our clients
Our ethos is to help our clients at every stage of their business journey. We are committed to providing a welcoming and friendly service and apply our principles of loyalty and trust to develop lasting, close and collaborative business relationships.
Our local community
Every December, we hold a staff Christmas food and drink raffle to raise funds for a local charity. This charity is voted for and chosen by our staff and this has been a great way of giving something back to worthwhile causes.
Throughout the year we attend school career fairs to educate local students about accountancy as a potential career, providing advice about what they need to do in their studies to enter the profession.
Some of our partners are also involved in local community projects through Rotary.
Our environment
Being on the doorstep of Weekley Hall Woods, we can’t help but love the location of our offices. At lunchtime our staff regularly take walks around the area, making the most of our beautiful surroundings. There are plans for this woodland to be developed which we oppose.
Over the years, we have made changes to make us a more sustainable practice and reduce waste. We introduced software for a paper-less office, installed LED and sensor lighting, removed plastic cups for drinking water, purchased many more goods locally and introduced recycling bins. We understand the importance of businesses reducing their carbon footprint and we have, as a result, benefitted from cost savings. Using our own experience, we encourage our clients to make their businesses more sustainable too.
